A MESSAGE FROM ROBYN MIDGLEY

Hi there

I am privileged and honoured to be hosting this webinar with Dr Chetan Patel.

Dr Patel and I first began working together in 2011 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

In 2017 we established Hand Consult SA, a collaborative service, based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, that provides specialist assessment, treatment & rehabilitation services addressing conditions, injuries and diseases of the hand and upper extremity.

Through Hand Consult SA we have been able to educate and engage with surgeons and therapists across the globe.

I regularly attended  theatre to observe Dr Patel perform surgical procedures.

Dr Patel is a highly skilled surgeon with a brilliant mind. Most importantly he is an incredible human being. He imparts implicit trust and empathy to all his patients and has the most wonderful sense of humour.

I can always rely on Dr Patel to perform hair-raising salvage procedures, restore the most severely damaged hands to function and promptly refer to hand therapy. Patients and colleagues have the highest respect for him. It is with great pleasure that I introduce Dr Patel to you, who will share his knowledge, skill and expertise on micro surgery with us.

I encourage you to attend this event and look forward to sharing this experience with you.

See you there,

Robyn Midgley
